A Golden Touch Caning Training

A Golden Touch Canine Training

About Me

My name is Yvonne Klatt and I am the owner and head Trainer of A Golden Touch Canine Training LLC. I have loved and owned dogs since I was little and have been training dogs professionally since 2012. I competed in obedience and Rally with my previous Golden Retriever. I currently own a 1 year old Golden Retriever, Nellie. She is the best little helper when it comes to socializing dogs and such a great role model. Working with dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds made me understand that all dogs are different and training is not one size fits all. I want to help you build a better relationship with your dog. Whether you just want a well behaved dog for your family or want to get into dog sports. Dog training is a lifelong commitment and I am here with you every step of the way.

Private Lessons

Tailored one-on-one coaching designed to help you become a clear, confident leader for your dog. Together, we'll work step-by-step toward your goals, focusing on practical skills, effective communication and a deeper bond.

As your coach, I'll guide and support you through every stage, giving you the tools and confidence to practice successfully at home between sessions. This hands-on program is perfect for dedicated owners who want to be actively involved in their dog's daily training and transformation.

In home day training

Give your dog a day filled with real structure, safety and individual care. Unlike high-volume daycare facilities, our program takes place in a calm home environment- making it much easier for your dog to transfer their new habits back to your house.

It's the ultimate blend of daycare socialization and professional coaching, perfect for energetic, social dogs needing structured engagement (and a safe climate controlled setup).

What Your Dog Receives:
Tailored Training Plan: A costumized daily routine built around your dog's unique needs.

Essential Life Skills: Focused practice on impulse control, proper manners and well-balanced social skills.

Real Home Advantage: Learning in a true home setting for seamless, real-world results.

Please note: Because this program operates in a home setting, Day Training is designed for social dogs and is not suitable for severe behavioral challenges like reactivity or anxiety.
